This cute puppy named Hiro has always been a really good boy, but recently he has proven once again how good he really is.

One day, Hiro and his owner Viviana Dávila were relaxing in their backyard in Puerto Rico when they discovered something on the ground near the fence. Hiro got up and took a closer look.

He had found something or even someone and wanted his human mother to know.

“I noticed that Hiro was licking something in the grass. Hiro licked the thing and looked at me and again insisted on licking me and looking at me, ”said Dávila. “It gave me the signal that something was going on and I went over to Hiro.

“I was very helpless and helpless.”

Davila had realized that Hiro had found a little bird that needed help. “I immediately looked for a towel and picked it up,” said Dávila.

A visit to the vet revealed that the bird, a baby Quaker parrot, was paraplegic after falling out of its nest. This meant that her chances of survival in the wild were virtually zero, and that she probably wouldn’t have survived if Hiro hadn’t found her in time.

Davilla called the bird Esperanza very aptly, as she was a fighter despite the bad situation. “The vet told us that in similar cases, he would recommend customers put them to sleep,” he said.

“He was surprised how hard it was for Hope to live.”

Davila, the human mother, decided to welcome Hope into her family and take care of her as best she could. After receiving instructions from the veterinarian, he fed the bird regularly and did his best to keep it comfortable and comfortable.

“It’s been a week and a half and she is much better,” said Dávila. “Hiro was part of that effort. He hasn’t left her since day one. “

As Hope settled in her new home and grew stronger and stronger every day, Hiro also worked to get her heart back on its feet.

“Nothing is important to him anymore because he has a new goal: to take care of hope,” said Dávila.

“Having hope and taking care of her so far has been a great experience,” said Davila. “She teaches us perseverance every day and Hiro teaches us how to show empathy and how to be a kind and kind living being.”
