golden globes nominations 2021 were announced today. Less than a month before the televised awards ceremony, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominees for the 78th annual Golden Globes on Wednesday morning.

The nominations were announced by Sarah Jessica Parker and Taraji P. Henson, along with HFPA President Ali Sar.

Netflix showcased the quality of productions to occupy numerous nominations this year. A total of 42 nominations, 22 in film categories and 20 on television, were the result.

For its part, the film ‘Mank’, directed by David Fincher, managed to be nominated in six categories, becoming the most nominated

Jane Fonda will receive this year’s Cecil B. DeMille Award, which recognizes a long film career. Past honorees include Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bridges, and Meryl Streep.
